The Brief Shpil :

The #HumanVoicesOnly ( created by Samantha Norbury ) first launched 2 years ago in direct response to Audible & Spoitfy offering indie authors free audiobooks using their AI voices…created from STOLEN human works.

That’s why we need YOU to join the fight right alongside us!

This day will bring together the entire book community - readers, listeners, artists, authors, narrators, and more - to keep the flame of human connection alive and our stories REAL.

Say hello to 24 hours of human focused FYP - created by humans for humans!

Wanna to join in but need a little inspo?

Narrators : Reach out to authors. Create a video or post letting them know you’re accepting submissions!
You can also join in by performing works from the public domain.
Authors : Reach out to your favorite narrators/voice actors & cover artists!
Write something new for the event.
You can also share a video or post praising the skills of your fellow human artists.
Listeners : Share your favorite audiobooks & covers!
You can also get chatty in the comment sections.

Get creative. Use your previous projects or the public domain. Just skip the AI, okay?

Submission Guidelines

Are you an author seeking a narrator?

To get your original (human only) works narrated, follow these guidelines when submiting to my roster :
- 500-1000 words
‍ ‍ - Any Genre welcome
(but keep it PG)

Ashley Voices is one narrarator among many taking part in this campign, so check them all out!

Remember to use the hashtag #HumanVoicesOnly & tag @samantha.norbury_narrator, when you are posting.
